EnviroCollective is growing and we are looking for people to fill key roles as Regina's Climate Hub. Want to get involved but not sure where to start? Take a look we have lots of idea's

Board Membership

Becoming a board member with EnviroCollective Network (ECN), would involve a monthly meeting and potentially a monthly two-hour online event. As a board member you would be involved in the overall operation. You would give input on policy, direction, governance, and recruitment. You may be asked to participate in subcommittee work.

Events

As a hub, ECN would like to hold three to four key events throughout the year. We require volunteers to help in the planning of ECN's first annual Recycle Arts Festival and Trade Show to highlight artists and businesses that are involved in the circular economy and environmental sustainability as a means to educate and excite the community about waste reduction, reuse and recycling in Regina

As a local Climate Hub

We have access to numerous resources and need volunteers to work under the Climate Reality Canada structure and network with the national body. As a volunteer you would help promote Climate Reality Leadership Corps training for people interested in being climate activists on how they can attend a future Climate Reality Leader training led by Al Gore and a team of worldrenowned scientists, activists, innovators, and more;

Communications / Media Relations:

ECN needs your to help to develop and run an effective social media strategy which is a key component of the organization's strategic role as an information hub around climate action.

Youth Mentors

We need volunteers to help engage youth that have shown interest in being involved in climate action. ECN has a signed a Memorandum of Understanding to be the administrative support for Fridays for Future Regina and be the adult mentor for the organization. ECN is also a member of Climate Reality Project who oversees the Campus Corps program worldwide.

As a youth mentor we would have you network to get a better understanding of initiatives and events that are happening within the elementary, high school and University systems in the city and elsewhere;

We also have access to educational resource materials through ClimateScience.org to help teachers and educators with curriculumaligned lesson plans for classroom study.
